Haruki Murakami’s The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle: A Novel
I love it so far but I’ve read a bit about how the English version has been over-edited (for better or for worse) so, we shall see!

cases. lots of them. specifically though the most interesting cases have been for a side research project for which i am not receiving credit…researching human rights protocol in africa and how a successful complaint is filed.
but if i had the mental energy for fiction i’d be re-reading franny and zooey, most definitely.
tell me how you end up liking murakami. i think his writing is beautiful but it gives me a general sense of discomfort which i am not very good at sitting with and wading through.
